About the Author

Zaynab Khan is a Durban-based South African author, teacher, poet, Palestine solidarity activist, and member of the National Writers Association of South Africa (NWASA).

She believes in the power of storytelling as resistance and as a bridge to empathy. Her previous works include A Letter from Gaza to the World and its follow-up Letters from the Sky, both written to help young readers understand the human side of war and displacement.

In this anthology, Khan brings together voices from around the world to celebrate truth, justice, and shared humanity through the written word. Her work strives to return the narrative of Palestine to its rightful voices, using literature as a tool for truth, empathy, and justice.
